General description:
The hotel Porto Greco Village Beach Hotel, especially popular with honeymooners, is around 700 m from Hersonissos (Malia around 7 km, Heraklion around 25 km). A sandy beach is in the vicinity of the hotel. At the beach, there are sun loungers and sun umbrellas for a fee. The tourist centre is about 700 m away. A supermarket can be reached after around 20 m. There are restaurants and bars within a very short distance of the hotel. Also the nearest disco is around 25 m away. The following attractions can be reached from the hotel: Star Beach Water Park (approx. 500 m away), Aquarium of Crete (approx. 9 km away), Dinosauria Park (approx. 15 km away) and Knossos Palace (approx. 33 km away). For mobility during your holiday, there are a bus stop (approx. 100 m away), a car rental company and a motorcycle rental. For medical treatment in emergencies there is a hospital around 30 km away. Partially renovated in 2022, the 3-storey resort has 316 rooms, and spread over one main building and a total 15 adjoining buildings. It offers its guests a 24h reception (check-in from 15:00, check-out until 11:00), a lobby with bar, air conditioning, a safe (for a fee), a mini market, a free parking area , a security entry system and a money changing facility. For the meals, there are three restaurants. You will be warmly welcomed in both the hotel’s bars. WiFi is available for free. Room cleaning is free of charge.
